TV addiction

Yesterday I watched three videos about the negative influence of media on children and Media literacy and I found them very informative .what I have learnt so far that parents use TV as a baby sitter and they depend on it in order to soothe their children which might affect their learning ability at the school to some extent. As a matter of fact, the major impact is on the family itself .Children do not play with each other in contrast, they argue with each other. Every one of family lives in his own world away from the other .The major problem here is that people do not realize how TV dominates their lives and to what extent they become addicted to it.


Media sometimes misleads us and takes us away from the reality. People surrender to what they watch because they want to escape from the real life and with time they do not even notice the shocking events and they become concerned about the minor events that are happening around them .It builds high walls between us.

In my opinion media have many positive effects that we should not ignore.They always say that if you are optimistic you have to see the full half of the cup but as a matter of fact the cup is full to the top by water and air.
